Jun Hong has been in the financial planning industry for more than a decade. Very early in his career, Jun Hong realized that building relationships, taking an interest in his client’s lives, and seeing their success as a reflection of his own success was key to building any business.
Jun Hong’s genuine concern for people, and in-depth financial planning knowledge, coupled with both financial planning experience and his experience in the private and government sector allows him to offer advice on wealth protection and accumulation to clients from different walks of life and life stages.
Jun Hong’s clients include singles just starting their work-life journey, young couples planning to have a family as well as senior management looking to expand their portfolio.
Jun Hong’s goal is to make financial planning accessible to everyone allowing them to live meaningful lives for themselves and their family secure in the knowledge that the future has been taken care of.
What was it like making a mid-career switch?
Being an employee and moving into self-employed was daunting and full of uncertainties. A new environment and new skills to pick up while embarking on my new career. A quote that best describes my working experience is “A Smooth Sea Never Made A Skilled Sailor”
How has this career changed your life?
This career has given me lots of opportunity to catch up with my social circle of friends. In my past job, it was always just work and family time only. I enjoy my effective time management for work, family and self.
How do you define success?
This quote by Brian Tracy resonate the most to me, “Success is the ability to live your life in the way you want to live it. Doing what you most enjoy, surrounded by people who you admired and respect.”
